I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated  at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in Holy Spirit, the holy Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of the sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

     

John Paul II Ecumenical Prayer Circle is a night vigil and fasting prayer project of the Baseelia Foundation (for Charities, Child Care, and Relief Fund). We give all the glory and honour to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We encourage people to pray for those who suffer from sickness, debts, having no children, homeless, jobless, abusive to others, sick with hate, fear, addicted on drugs/alcohol, depressed, peaceless, and uneasiness.  

Anybody can join this prayer circle. They shall find at least 10 minutes everyday in between 5.30 to 7.00 am or 9.30 to 11.00 pm to pray for the requests which is submitted at the prayer book of this link. Also we have to pray for the world peace, unity of nations, religious harmony, unity of the churches, unity and spiritual harmony among christians. By our prayers God may protect entire earth from natural calamities, contageous diseases, wars, terrorism, communal riots etc. 

When children of God crying out together at a particular time, no doubt it will be answerable; because the humble children pleading to God the Father every 24 hours from around the globe. Our Lord said, "Pray without ceasing".

The priests who join this prayer circle will be remembering all the names and their requests in the Holy Eucharist.

Those who want to uphold prayers are invited to join this prayer circle. Also post your prayer requests, testimonies of the answered prayers, brief devotional thoughts, poems, spiritual stories, events etc.

May the intercessions of the Holy Virgin Mary, all the Apostles, all the Martyrs, all the Saints, especially the blessed John Paul II be our fort and our watch.

May the love of the Father, the grace of the Lord Jesus and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us always.

 
A joint meeting of the Salem Voice Ministries, John Paul II Ecumenical Prayer Circle, At Anycost Jesus Mission and the Baseelia Foundation was held in Kottayam (India) and decided to celebrate the World Bible Day on 1st of July every year. Rev. Paul Ciniraj, the chairman of the World Bible Day  Celebration Committee said that they are requesting all the Churches, Denominations, Bible Societies, Missionary Organisations, Theological Seminaries, Bible and Prayer Fellowships and all of the Christian Institutions to be participated with the celebration of  "the World Bible Day on July 1st" and make it a great success. 
 
The ancient churches are celebrating June 29 and 30 as the Days of St. Peter and St. Paul as well as all the Apostles. It followed by a 13 days lent called "Apostles Lent" from June 16 onwards. Apostles represent the church. That means those days (June16 to 30) are the days of the preparation of the Church. The Bible is given to the Church and the World Bible Day should be followed by the Days of the preparation of the Church. So July 1st is the apt day for celebrating the World Bible Day. Rev. Paul Cineraj said. Also the Bible is the book of the Salvation and it is the important Scripture in the center of the human life. More or less July 1st is the middle of an year and considered it as the World Bible Day. He added.

The following programmes will be conducting for the World Bible Day on 1st of July:

1).  Conduct special services or the prayer fellowships in the churches with a message of the World Bible Day and greet each others with the holy kiss.

2).  Conduct Bible Seminars, Bible Quiz Competitions and Biblical Cultural Programmes among children, students, youth and the women.

3).  Conduct public meetings followed by a Bible Procession in each town with the participation of all the churches and congregations.

4).  Encourage every christians to donate at least one Bible on that day as a token of love to a dear one, especially to a non christian friend.

5).  Encourage all the staff and the students of the christian institutions to wear a badge mentioning "July 1, the World Bible Day" with a verse of the Bible.

6).  Encourage all the christian families to have a lunch together following by a family prayer and reading of a portion from the Bible. (It is good to invite non christian friends for the lunch and honour them with giving the Bible as a gift).

7).  Encourage all the christians to wish others by distributing Bible tracts.

8). Encourage people to send greeting cards for the Bible Day.
